One spring afternoon whilst most were hiding indoors when it rained cats and dogs in Manchester, an enthusiastic team from The Lowry Hotel was outside sowing wildflowers in Rosebery St Park. Some nearby residents popped by to ask about the project and were excited to hear that wildflowers were being planted in their local park. This initiative is part of a wider campaign by the Lowry Hotel to plant 600 trees in local schools as well as sowing 12,500 sq m of wildflowers in local parks. These projects are in collaboration with GreenTheUK, the Royal Forestry Society, Buglife and Manchester City Council.
